PROFESSIONAL AND RELATED EXPERIENCE.
2000- Jinan University, Tripoli, Lebanon, Assistant professor and Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration. In addition to full academic and administrative responsibilities of the faculty I teach at the graduate and graduate levels as well as supervision of graduation projects, I also actively participate as a member of the university Council in strategic planning and policy design and implementation.
2003 (30th Jan-1st Feb) Academia 2003, Phoenicia Intercontinental Hotel, Beirut, Lebanon, Project Coordinator for Jinan University. In charge of negotiations, presentations, seminars, and media interviews conducted on behalf of the university during the period of exhibition.
2003 (9 July) "The Impact of Regional Developments on the Lebanese Economy", Participant, Gevinor Hotel, Beirut. The one-day conference was intended to explore the opportunities and challenges facing the Lebanese economy in the mid to long term.
2003 (14-15 May and 14-18 July) "Enhancement of Quality Assurance & Institutional Planning at Arab Universities", (Tunis, Tunis), Participant as a representative of Jinan University. Organized by UNDP, the objectives of the project, which will end in June 2004, are to enhance quality teaching and performance of participating Arab Universities.
1993/6 Université de Montréal, Montréal, Canada, Teaching Assistant. Assignments include helping students better understand the relevant literature in addition to correcting exams and evaluating term papers. Also, participated at conferences of the ACFAS (Association canadienne-française pour l’avancement de la science) as well as the Canadian Political Science Association.
1989 United Nations, New York, NY. USA, Center for Transnational Corporations. Intern. As a prerequisite for Master’s graduation, the training program helped me better understand the role and impact of transnational corporations on the process of development especially in Third-World developing countries.
